Chase This Light is the sixth studio album by American rock band Jimmy Eat World, released on October 16, 2007 by Interscope Records. The album was executive produced by Butch Vig. Recording for Chase This Light began in July 2006 with producer Butch Vig. In June 2007, it was announced that the album was being mixed by Chris Lord-Alge. The song Carry You originated as a track from Jim Adkins' side project Go Big Casino. Jimmy Eat World has recorded other Go Big Casino songs previously like Hear You.
