On this collection Cox attempted, largely unsuccessfully, to combine various styles from pop to conventional hard rock, but it was obvious to most critics that he needed fellow musicians to embroider his songwriting. Jess Cox used to run the reformed version of Neat Records and his own label, Edgy Records. He currently runs Metal Nation Records. During their 2015 South American tour, Blitzkrieg backed Cox up for a special set in which he performed Tygers of Pan Tang songs under the moniker Jess Cox's Tygers of Pan Tang.
