However, this CD is worth having for some of the Jewish folk songs, some of which I had never heard before. Oy a nacht. is a beautiful song, beautifully done. And Dortn, dortn is a real heartbreaker if you understand Yiddish, and lovely even if you do not. While the songs are described in the liner notes, I would have liked to have been provided with the exact Yiddish words, and a good translation. I play this dis.
