Great album by ISMAEL MIRANDA This is a classic, and Ismael Miranda demonstrates his versatility as a well rounded SONERO in this genre of Afro-Caribbean music. The albumCD arrived in excellent condition and was exactly as the seller described it. NEW & SEALED. As was the case with many of the albums which the late Jorge Millet produced during the 1970s, No Voy Al Festival was radically different from much of the Salsa being released at the time. The title track ia a no-holds-barred guaguanco in which Ismael's formidable improvisations strike out with full force-said track alone merits buying the whole CD. In 1984, Miranda recorded an album for Fania with the Cuban conjunto Sonora Matancera. By 1988, he had planned to retire. On September 27, 2003, Ismael Miranda performed at the Copacabana nightclub in New York City. He currently continues to perform and is now on a national tour. Ismael Miranda 1975.
