Catch 22 was a bit of a departure from Hypocrisy's previous releases, and I think it left a few fans scratching their heads. Personally, I loved the album. Bands should develop over time, and try new things, or else they go stagnant. I do get, however, why he released this album. The vocal styling is much closer to how one might expect Hypocrisy to sound. To paraphrase what Peter says about it: If you didn't care much for the original, then this album is for you.
