Horace Silver, a brilliant composer of funky melodies, was never that strong a lyricist despite his good intentions. For this set following the Silver 'N Brass and Silver 'N Wood sessions, the pianist's quintet featuring trumpeter Tom Harrell and tenorman Bob Berg is joined by six voices under the direction of Alan Copeland.
