So Hellfish huh?
And you came up to this brilliant tunes? Well done, my dear.
This is really nice example of very well composed hardcore.
Lotta reflection to "DireStairs, Coldplay,Ghost in the sell, Sin City" and many more in the way of hardcore samples do. You will just love this. Nice breaks, nice d'n'b layers, perfect industrial sounds, brilliant samples. Can we ask for more? For sure you can.
Oki, felleas, this is not dutch hardcore, it is not gabba, it is not definetely any french core, manga core ... This is just Hellfish. He is its own genre. Nice cuts, nice intro/outros. The way of moving from non-beat to beat parts is just absolutely great. Track inner timing, the escalation of the main motives. Just go and listen it whole. Turn the volume right, put your headphones on, relax and enjoy.

After this, all other hardcore, even similar project, seems to be like kids' tries.

There are some elements of 'Daft Cant' that blow me away when I listen to it! What I Really like is the way the 1st main kick & bassline comes in, hard! & filtered quickly with a cool sounding effect on top of it.
This tune could have been a real classic for me, which is a pity I think because all it would have took was to be Alot more solid; the main bassline sounds excellent but it isn't constant for more than 16 beats; all threw-out the tune there is too much of a breakbeat / d'n'b structure to it, not a typical hardcore style tune where the beat is more or less constant with effects on the kick at the end of 8 beats etc etc.
Still, it's a cool tune which uses the kick-ass guitar solo from 'Daft Punk - Aerodynamic'.

When Hellfish & The Producer collaborate together them show that 2 heads really are better than one!

This album is simply only bombastisch. Simply singularly. I find its newer productions very very excellently perfectly. I do not hear more normally point at all this music. But at a pleasant speed (160Bpm - 180Bpm) rocks the music evenly like so much. And all best is, the hard Techno fan finds it totally good. It would however not please the hard Techno people, if one plays this music very fast. Is genuinly times a glaring experience. It lives the HardGabbaFrenchCore of experimental Style.

Warning: Do not purchase this album if you are not in possession of a sense of humour

Theres a re-jig of the main theme from Ghost In The Shell which is jaw-droppingly excellent

Theres what is basically a remix of Dire Straits - Money For Nothing which is very very very silly :D

And....oh god, oh god, hes sampled Coldplay. COLDPLAY.

Out of the 6 tracks theres perhaps 3 maybe 2, that havent got big recognisable samples. Im guessing from the album titles this is the idea - something to piss off the purists maybe. But you know already that the 'fish's production is sharp as a sharp thing so it all works.

So basically it's great fun. Give me tracks with a bit of personality over 6 minutes of kicks and VST effects any day of the week.
