Perseverance is the second studio release and the major-label debut by the American metallic hardcore band Hatebreed. It was released in 2002 by Universal Records. I Will Be Heard is featured in the film XXX and on its soundtrack. It is the band's last album to feature Lou Richards on lead guitar before his departure in 2002 and suicide in 2006. Some general impressions The song 'I will be heard' was the first contact I ever had with Hatebreed. I heard it in a local club, and I liked the simple, but powerfull design of the song. It also marks Hatebreed's first full-length album of new material since their 1997 debut, Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire. While most would expect that after five years some growth would be merited, listening to Perseverance one would have a hard time telling that such a period of time passed between albums. The album does indeed sound. On Perseverance, Hatebreed's major-label debut, the underground favorites have not sacrificed any musical or lyrical principles-or any aggression-turning in 16 tracks of unrelenting force, with most tunes clocking in at under three minutes. Go Unlimited. this is my first hatebreed album unfourtunately i bought it used it works fine but i didnt know the band gets no royalty pay when bought used so dont buy used if you want to support your bands. this is a very good and inspirational album from start to finish, except there are a few trcks i didnt like that didnt really make.
