Agreed that the programmatic sequence of tracks juxtaposing plainchant from the Middle Ages with modern compositions from Gorecki, Part, and Tavener is fascinating. I also agree how sad it is that it's no longer in print, but fortunately, it's affordable and easily available in a used copy at this writing
