The album's release date was timed so it would be eligible for the 2006 Mercury Music Prize, and the album did make the shortlist but lost out to Arctic Monkeys' debut Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not. The band admitted that Hello Land, the spring-themed album, had come out a little late. The summer record was tentatively titled On Summer Island, and was due in September 2012 but has yet to be released.
