The gentleman of salsa bares his soul to his lady on Vivir sin Ella before energizing the familiar melody of Were All Alone on Impaciencia. Most of the songs are in the style of salsa romantica, but Me Libere and Aunque Tu No Quieras harken back to the classic salsa sound, with the cowbell bumping it up a notch. Gilberto Santa Rosa was born on 21 August 1962, in Puerto Rico and today is known as El Caballero de la Salsa the gentleman of salsa. In 1976 he started with a group of amateurs in Puerto Rico, and his first recording was with the Mario Ortiz Orchestra. This very danceable recording helped Santa Rosa to gain great public appeal in the very early '90s Jorge Luis Piloto's No Me Dejes Solo is a bomba that adds a breath of fresh air to the proceedings. Punto de Vista is Alex d'Castro's last recording with the orchestra before he embarked on a solo career. Track Listing.
