Some releases came with a printed 'The debut album from Generation X' obi. As the obi runs across the sleeve rather than the more usual vertically some sleeves are top loaders.Initial copies issued on gradient blue Chrysalis labels in a card picture sleeve opening at the top, some with a printed 'obi' style horizontal strip stating 'The debut album from Generation X' on the front and with a track listing on rear. Later pressings were issued in a side opening sleeve.
