6 is the sixth studio album by the Swedish folk rock band Garmarna. Released in 2016, it was the band's first album after a hiatus of 15 years. Unlike its predecessors, 6 is more electronic and focuses on current issues like refugees, borders, hate and prejudices. It also includes tracks written and recorded in cooperation with other Swedish artists, namely Maxida Märak, Thåström and Annika Norlin. One of the most important Swedish folk bands to emerge in the early 90-ies, combining medival ballads. When hes not rocking out with Garmarna he is working as a pediatrician. And in this episode of the swedish kids tv show Doktorerna The Doctors he is helping a boy with migraine after a couple of other kids have tried treating their friend with questionable result.
