Indian summer is a phrase most North Americans use to describe an unseasonably warm and sunny patch of weather during autumn. An Indian summer is typically caused by a sharp shift in the jet stream from the south to the north. With the way the weather has been feeling down here, I got a feeling summer is going to last just a bit longer than we expect. Here is a tape Galen gave me along with Making Waves for everyone to enjoy this labor day. I have never seen this one posted or mentioned anywhere online before. This album version was recorded the same day as the title track in August 1971. In 2005 the song made a reappearance as a sample in the hit single Ghetto Gospel by the deceased rapper Tupac Summer is the first live album by Al Stewart, released in 1981. It was originally released as a double LP, with sides 2, 3 & 4 featuring live material while side 1 featured five new studio recordings. The side 1 tracks were recorded at Evergreen Studios, Los Angeles between JuneAugust 1981, while the three live sides were recorded at The Roxy Theatre, Los Angeles in April 1981.
