The original intention was to record a mix of standards and originals, but only one original, Ellington's I Like the Sunrise, was used. The arrangements were written by Billy May. All of the performances are at a slow tempo except Come Back to Me. was released by Reprise Records. Your Rating. I've fixed as many clicks and pops as I can. Recorded on Sinatra's birthday in 1967, this collaboration between America's most popular singing icon and pre-eminent jazz composer still endures as one of Sinatra's most enjoyable Reprise-era albums. Frank would only do one album with the Duke, but each of these songs were unique to Frank's 1960's music. I do not believe he ever performed them again, but their sound is unmistakable. You really cannot compare it to the music he made with Count Basie, which absolutely roars and is some of the best Frank ever did
