Альбом 1995 Песен: 15. Tall Blonde Helicopter is the third studio album from British musician Francis Dunnery, released in 1995. The album showed Dunnery stripping down the arrangements and production of the previous album, and the material focused more on his acoustic guitar playing, giving it a folk-rock flavour. Three singles were released from the album Too Much Saturn, The Way Things Are and I Believe I Can Change My World. To promote the album, Atlantic Records released a VHS cassette with sixteen minutes of footage. In the liner notes of Tall Blonde Helicopter, Francis Dunnery writes that the record was made with a wink and a smile. That mischievous spirit certainly shines through most of the 15 songs that comprise this 1995 release, particularly Too Much Saturn, a humorous tale of the effects of the new age, and The Johnny Podell Song, which was titled for his booking agent. Although it's a strong, enjoyable album, Tall Blonde Helicopter never quite finds its groove and, therefore, feels the tiniest bit choppy. Nevertheless, if you like singersongwriters who float somewhere outside the box, Dunnery should be in your collection. Track Listing. For me it was in his post It Bites-era that I became really interested in what he was doing and have snagged a number of his solo albms with this one rising to the top Dunnery is a wonder songwriter and every song on this album is excellent with tons of great guitar work.
