The Foo Fighters are back with a new single and album. In 1999 The Foo's signed to RCA and released the album "There Is Nothing Left To Lose" which has gone on to be a platinium record and the biggest Foo Fighter's album in the UK to date. "The One" is the first single to be taken from the as yet untitled album due for release in April. The track is also the promotional track for the film "Orange County". Support as already come from Jo Whiley, Steve Lamacq, Mark & Lard and is A listed at XFM - added 12 weeks upfront! The Foo Fighters will be coming into the UK at the begining of March for promotion and a handfull of gigs. Alongside all this, press are already queuing up for features and exclusives most notably NME, Q, Kerrang and The Face.

Foo Fighters is the eponymous debut studio album by American rock band Foo Fighters, released on July 4, 1995 by Roswell and Capitol Records. Dave Grohl wrote and recorded the entire album himself, apart from a guest guitar spot by Greg Dulli, with the assistance of producer Barrett Jones at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, Washington, in 1994. He claimed that he recorded the album just for fun, describing it as a cathartic experience to recover from the death of Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain. The One is a song by Foo Fighters, released as a single in 2002. It appeared on the soundtrack album for the film Orange County. The retail single itself was only released in Australia and New Zealand. However, it was made available by import in the US and UK, and promotional singles for radio airplay were sent out to a number of countries, including Canada, the UK, and the US.
