Currently, Peter is proud to hold posts with two of the countrys most prestigious ensembles: Composer in Residence at the Band of the Coldstream Guards and Musical Associate with Fodens Band. The music of Canadian-based British composer Peter Meechan is performed throughout the world. Peter was the first ever Young Composer in Association with the prestigious Black Dyke Brass band, where he went on to serve as their Composer in Residence , a position he held between 2012 2015 with The Band of the Coldstream Guards.
