Falstaff is a vaguely odd band, and II is a vaguely odd record - it takes its basis in a frantic, screamy rock style, but its production isn't inclined toward bombast or power, leaving a pretty interesting mix behind. Then there are the rather traditional pop pieces, like the piano-based Home - the record trades its rock paces with its pop strides, and the deconstructive oddity that results is intensely fascinating.
