Trivia:
Initially GiG Records had planned to release 'Helden Von Heute' as A-side, backing it with 'Der Kommissar'. After cutting both tracks and digging the nursery rhyme in the chorus of the proposed B-Side, PRS GesmbH mastering engineer Helmut Leistner rang up Markus Spiegel convincing him to swap the sides and to primarily market 'Der Kommissar' - which eventually proved to be a good decision.

Side indicators X and Y were chosen as a reference to the popular TV-show 'Aktenzeichen XY ungelöst'.
