The second full length album from the Belgian black metal band, Enthroned, released 1997 by Blackend Records on CD and in 1998 by Mystic Production on cassette tape, and by Plastic Head Distribution on picture disc vinyl. Re-released 2006 on vinyl by Painkiller Records, 200 copies on red vinyl. Initial Drumming concepts on this album were made by Cernunnos before he died. Produced by Enthroned and André Gielen. The cover artwork was painted by Kris Verwimp. In 1997 when the band was ready to record Towards The Skullthrone Of Satan, Cernunnos committed suicide. A heavy blow to the band, but they managed to record the album, with help from a session drummer. The band appeared at a festival named Dragon Blaze with their new drummer Namroth Blackthorn. In 1998 they went on another European tour with Dark Funeral. In 1999 they entered Abyss Studio in Sweden and recorded their third album The Apocalypse Manifesto. Enthroned rounded off the 20th Century on tour with Marduk. In 2000 they parted ways with Nebiros and recruited Nerath Daemon. He proved himself worthy on a German mini tour. Album 1999 9 Songs.
