Engineers is the debut studio album of the British shoegaze band Engineers. It was released on 7 March 2005 by the Echo label, and features the singles Home, Forgiveness, and Come in Out of the Rain. Engineers are a British shoegazingdream pop band. The band was formed in London in 2003 by bassistguitaristkeyboardist Mark Peters, singerguitarist Simon Phipps, bassistguitarist Dan MacBean, and drummer Andrew Sweeney. After the release of their second album Three Fact Fader in 2009, MacBean and Sweeney left the band, and were replaced by bassistvocalist Daniel Land, drummer Matthew Linley, and keyboardist Ulrich Schnauss.
