As with all of Drudkh's Supernal releases, it was later remastered and reissued with new artwork on Season of Mist's Underground Activists label, due to issues with royalty payments from Supernal. It is the first Drudkh album to incorporate synthesizers and, as with its predecessor, its lyrics have never been released. Some releases of Autumn Aurora have Summoning the Rain and Glare of Autumn combined as a single track. The album has been re-released on November 9, 2009, by Season of Mist, featuring a remastered sound and a new album artwork. An example of this is at the beginning of 'Summoning The Rain' when the drummer uses the toms abundantly, contributing to the atmosphere immensely and really helping the feeling of autumn landscapes to come though. Although in some parts of Autumn Aurora with the drums blast beats do occur, but they sound well placed.
