Driftoff is a four piece band from Brooklyn, New York who formed in July of 2013. Driftoff feature members on Junius, Rosetta, City Of Ships, and Superblonde. Driftoff play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, noise rock, and post rock within their sound. Musically, Driftoff can be compared to bands such as Quicksand, Seaweed, Cave In, Aeges, and other like-minded bands. Modern Fear is the band's debut four song 12, which was released v. Daft is a compilation collecting the Art of Noise LP Who's Afraid of the Art Of Noise with one track, Snapshot, appearing in a longer version than on the original UK LP, but previously released on the Japanese version, along with portions of the Into Battle with the Art of Noise EP and Moments in Love remix single. It gives a fairly thorough overview of the Trevor Horn period of the group, prior to its split from the ZTT label. The compilation is also notable for its amusingly venomous liner
