Jennifer Juniper is a song and single by the Scottish singer-songwriter, Donovan, released in 1968. It peaked at number 5 in the UK Singles Chart, and at number 26 in the Billboard Hot 100. The track was written about Jenny Boyd, sister of Pattie Boyd, in the throes of a heroin overdose, shortly before they went with The Beatles to Rishikesh. She married Mick. Poor Cow is a 1967 British Kitchen Sink drama directed by Ken Loach and based on Nell Dunn's novel of the same name. It was Ken Loach's first feature film, after a series of TV productions. Set in London, the Winstanley and York Road Estates in Battersea were amongst the locations featured prominently in the background. The title is a cockney expression, with the word cow referring to a woman. The film was re-released in the UK in 2016.
