Dokken's Concert History. Dokken is an American hard rock, heavy metal band that was formed in 1978. Having big success in the 80s with tracks such as Dream Warriors, It's Not Love, In My Dreams, and others, they sold over ten million albums worldwide yet faced internal battles over their direction. The group split up in 1989, having accumulated numerous charting singles and earned a Grammy nomination, and they've had sporadic reunions since then. Former and current members of ACDC, DIO, WHITESNAKE, RATT, DOKKEN, THIN LIZZY and MEGADETH are among the musicians who are scheduled to take part in the '80s Rockers For Japan benefit concert on Saturday, April 16 at Harper's in Reseda, California. Organized by singer Terry Ilous XYZ, GREAT WHITE, the show will feature musicians from some of the '80s most popular rock and metal bands. The Rock Album is a compilation album by British hard rock band Whitesnake, released on 19 June 2020 through Rhino Records. The album contains revisited, remixed and remastered versions of previously released songs, and is the first in a series called Red, White and Blues Trilogy. According to the album's executive producer David Coverdale, some songs have been musically embellished where my co-producer Michael McIntyre, my new mixer Christopher Collier and I felt it appropriate or necessary to.
