Disintegrate is a Dutch melodic death metal band. It is with sadness that we have to announce that, effective immediately, Disintegrate has gone on an indefinite hiatus and all future plans are put on hold. This weekend Rowie informed us that she was going to leave Disintegrate to pursue other projects. This has put the band in new difficulties and we feel, as it was already hard for us to recover from the previous line-up troubles, that the search for a new drummer would do more damage than good. Right now, all our lives are in a phase where family, work and studies take up a great deal of our time and it will remain so for the foreseeab. Disintegrate comes from the little country known for flooding, a band that packs a sonic punch that is amazingly heavy yet comes down on you as nasty and scary as thousands of razorblade at a nudist colony. simply put, this band clearly is intent on powering a swath of metal that is and always be very hard to ignore. Weak spot is the EP itself. It is no secret that I am mot a fan of EPS in any way, but as far as this one goes. it is one of them that I can forgive for being so short on music.
