Dem Franchize Boyz arent that different from everyone else, the new wave of Southern Rap almost always has all three of the previously listed qualities, and almost always aggravates me. For that reason I havent listened to an entire album by any new Southern Rap artist in my life. That ends now. Despite the click-track beats and the incredible eloquence of the lyrics, some songs on On Top of Our Game arent all that bad. Songs like third single and last quote Ridin Rims are fun tunes, but its hard to find much more than that on Dem Franchize Boyz newest release. You wont find any intelligent songs, despite the intelligence of certain members. Dem Franchize Boyz drifted around the ATL music scene and dropped a number of independent releases, but then their song White Tee, while not necessarily becoming a major hit by Billboard standards, did give them some brief attention. But that's nothing compared to the popularity they've received thanks to their latest album, On Top of Our Game. I personally don't see what the big deal is about this album. Before I listened to it, I thought I would be annoyed by all the snap music, but it turns out that the problem isn't necessarily the music itself, but the belo. Dem Franchize Boyz is an American snap rap group from Atlanta, Georgia signed to So So Def Records. The group comprises four members, Buddie Gerald Tiller, Parlae Maurice Gleaton, Pimpin Jamal Willingham and Jizzal Man Bernard Leverette. They have released three studio albums, 2004's Dem Franchize Boyz, 2006's On Top of Our Game and 2008's Our World, Our Way. As of 2010 the group has reunited and has plans to release a fourth studio album sometime later this year.
