There's an Innocent Face isn't the sort of album you'd expect from Curt Boetcher if you know his history. Famed as the adventurous producer behind Tommy Roe and the Association, and also a driving force behind the stunning if a tad sugary pop of the Millennium and Sagittarius, Boetcher's strict adherence on Face to a laid-back, Californian singer-songwriter vibe comes as a bit of a shock.
