Album

Adventures in Foam is the first album by Brazilian electronic musician Amon Tobin, and the only one to be released under the name Cujo Portuguese for whose. It was first released in September 1996 on the small south London label Ninebar records. This was around the same time that Tobin signed with Ninja Tune to record under his own name. The track lists of the original CD and LP versions, as released in the UK on 16 September 1996, were as follows. Adventures In Foam by Cujo aka Amon Tobin was an album first released on 16 September 1996 through Ninebar Records, and rereleased on 20 May 2002 through Ninja Tune records. Album 1996 20 Songs. More By Cujo. Some of those early tracks make it onto Adventures in Foam, but the best of the album resides in glimpse-giving moments of genre-mingling such as The Light and Northstar, which spin splintering breaks through shards of '70s fusion and '90s ambient and tech similar in eclecticism to Luke VibertPlug, Mung, and the less cheeky side of Squarepusher. Most of my favorite Amon Tobin was made in his Cujo period, which I guess is just this albums worth of work. This album has some interesting jazzzzzzy dnb and downtempo-typa-ish in the unmistakeable Amon Tobin style. Also check out the Amon Tobin remix of a Roots Manuva track. I don't remember the name of it but check it out its bomb.

The track with Roots Manuva is called "Saboteur (Manuva Version)" and found on the "4 Ton Mantis" Single. Originally taken from the "Supermodified" album.

Possibly one of Amon Tobin best works... to think that this ablum was first releaesed in '96! As an artist so ahead of his time he has managed to be cemented into the Ninja Tune family. F Zebra.
