Daylight Again is a 1982 studio album by the band Crosby, Stills & Nash, their fourth of completely original material, and seventh in total. It peaked at 8 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart, the final time the band has made the top ten to date. The genesis of the album lies in recordings made by Stephen Stills and Graham Nash at intervals in 1980 and 1981, the album slated to be a Stills-Nash project. They employed Art Garfunkel, Timothy B. Schmit, and others to sing in place of where David Crosby might have been. Crosby, Stills & Nash. WMG BMI - Broadcast Music Inc. Although Crosby, Stills & Nash had, in effect, been together for well over a decade when Daylight Again 1982 was issued, it was only their third studio long-player of concurrently new material. Initially, the project began as a collaborative effort between Stephen Stills guitarbanjokeyboardspercussionvocals and Graham Nash guitarkeyboardspercussionvocals, as David Crosby was descending into a self-induced state of perpetual drug dependency. However, Crosby was included, although arguably in name alone, and his hauntingly lyrical Delta stands as one of his finest co. Daylight Again. Crosby, Stills & Nash - Daylight Again 1982. Much has been said about the lack of participation by David Crosby on this album due to the fact that the album was mostly finished by the time he was invited to be a part of it. Yes, it would have been a better record if such had not been the case. In spite of this, the greatest assets on Daylight Again are his two contributions - when he does sing it's all the more appreciated. There is a certain gut wrenching seriousness to his two songs that stand out from any of the CSN recordings given what was going on in his life at the time.
