This book could have easily been titled The Soul Life. I think the American concept of Soul has parallels to Hygge. It's about feeling true and happy with one's self, being open and sharing in one's community. A Hygge life is authentic. I read about 10 pages about that time I realized that I don't need someone to tell me that scented candles and soft blankets are cozy, and that this book was getting quite descriptive about how to decorate and entertain in cozy ways. I guess that wasn't what I was expecting. I started to skim. I don't even need to steep it for too long to get that spicy flavor and scent. It's a very nice morning pick me up. I will continue to purchase this one. I would say it's one of the best buys I've made and have really enjoyed listening to my album collection again. You get what you pay for and I think that for the price, this is perfect
