"Blue" po angielsku oznacza błękit albo smutek - właśnie taka jest zawartość drugiego albumu Closterkellera. Płyta przyniosła materiał o stokroć dojrzalszy i bardziej różnorodny w stosunku do swej poprzedniczki. Zespół, w składzie poszerzonym o "żywego" perkusistę i drugiego gitarzystę, przedstawił materiał bogatszy brzmieniowo. Muzyka "Blue" opiera się na instrumentach klawiszowych dobrze komponujących się z gitarami, a przede wszystkim z emocjonalnym, lecz zarazem wywołującym wrażenie chłodu głosem wokalistki. Jeszcze przed premierą albumu Closterkeller zaprezentował jego namiastkę w postaci utworu "Czerwone wino" podczas recitalu w ramach KFPP Opole.
