Bigger Space is an interesting creation of experimental music, based on the improvisation of form and structure beyond an exploration of possibilities and extremes. Centrozoon is the name of the group, formed in Germany, that explore a rare project of electronic soundscapes. Members of this first work, are: Bernhard Wöstheinrich synthesizers, electronics, percussives Markus Reuter touch guitar, bass, ambient loops and electronics and the precocious collaboration. As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations, Burning Shed brings Centrozoon's 'Bigger Space' back into print. Deleted for over five years, the dvd-r offers a fascinating perspective on the short-lived Bowness, Reuter & Woestheinrich incarnation of the band. Recorded in the Autumn of 2003 and filmed at a small-scale warm-up performance, 'Bigger Space' is a unique document featuring hidden extras and the evocative black and white images of photographer Telemach W. The first centrozoon album was the predominantly-ambient Blast, which was released on DiN Recordings in 1999. Early hints of what the next centrozoon album would be like denser and faster, with strong electronic dance-rhythms incorporated were circulated later in 2001 on a CD EP called The Divine first centrozoon release of 2002 was the self-released Centrophil 12-inch vinyl EP, in which the band explored electronic remix culture in collaboration with electronic musician and producer.
