They later developed into psychedelic grind and gradually became more and more avant garde. Their final album Screaming Machines was a psychedelic and disonant sounding metal album and was at least at the time of the release one of the weirdest records ever released. They never formally split up the band, but have made no sound since 1996 and the members have no contact with each other anymore. CARBONIZED Artist Format: Audio CD. Formed in Saltsjöbaden, Sweden, in 1989, the band's varying line-ups featured members from great Swedish death metal bands like Therion, Entombed and Dismember. Carbonized released their first demo Au-To-Dafe in September 1989. The band was soon recognized by French label Thrash Records, through which the band recorded and released their first EP No Canonization in 1990. For the Security is the debut full-length studio album by Swedish death metal act Carbonized. The album was released through Thrash Records in 1991. Carbonized was founded by bassist Lars Rosenberg Entombed.
