Hed PE stylized as hədpe is the debut album by the American rapcore band Hed PE. It was released on August 12, 1997 by Jive Records, and has sold over 100,000 copies. Many of the tracks on this album were re-recorded from the band's debut EP, Church of Realities The album's musical style is a fusion of punk, hip hop, metal, funk and reggae. The album sold over 100,000 copies. Due to the label's contractual terms and the disappointing sales of the album, the band found themselves unable to repay. The discography of Hed PE, an American punk rock band, consists of eleven studio albums, one live album, three compilation albums, four extended plays, seventeen singles, and fourteen music videos. Formed in Huntington Beach, California in 1994, the band performs a style of music which they refer to as G-punk. Their music is primarily based in a fusion of punk rock and hip hop music, but they have also incorporated heavy metal and reggae influences. After releasing three albums on Jive Records, Hed. EP-PE One is an extraordinary musical collaboration between keyboardist Eric Persing and multi-winds.
