On this three-song cover EP, Bantam Rooster rocks out to their usual array of foot stomping, high-energy garage punk that pays. The title track, for example, is an obvious nod to Devo as the two-piece rocks their way through a wall of synth noise and abrasive vocals while their cover of Private Affair salutes the Saints as they add a romp of '60s swank to 1977-style punk. Bantam Rooster was an American garage punk band, formed in 1994 in Lansing, Michigan and disbanded in 2003. Bantam Rooster formed in 1994 as the duo of vocalist and guitarist Thomas Jackson Potter formerly of Kill Devil Hill and drummer Eric Cook, who teamed up between working with other bands. According to Potter, they considered adding additional members but by that time had already written songs that worked as a guitar-drum duo, so decided not to.
