After finding a rare antique book The Passing of the Buffalo by the unknown author, Buckskin, musician Andrew Sisk decided its beauty needed to be resurrected. Vividly narrating the quick destruction of the enormous herds, this forgotten piece of Canadian literature has never been more relevant than in our current era of climate change and debate on the use of our natural resources. Never re-published and with one of the only remaining copies, Sisk was inspired to celebrate its message by creating a musical score for the book in order to bring attention to a lost masterwork.
