Amos 'n' Andy is an American radio and television sitcom set in Harlem, the historic center of Afro-American culture in New York City. The original radio show, which ran from 1928 to 1960, was created, written and voiced by two white actors, Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll, who played Amos Jones Gosden and Andrew Hogg Brown Correll, as well as incidental characters. Very few recordings of Amos and Andy radio shows survive from about 1930 to 1943 when they expaned to 30 minutes. This is an interesting and largely entertaining cross section of what the original 15 minute radio show was like. From 1936 is an episode where A&A run out of gas on a trip to California and happen upon the home of a friendly stranger, who happens to be a popular movie actor of the day. Месяц бесплатно.
