Flush the Fashion is the fifth solo album by singer Alice Cooper, released in April 28, 1980, and produced by Roy Thomas Baker. Musically, the album was a drastic change of style for Cooper, leaning towards a new wave influence. The lead single Clones We're All reached 40 on the Billboard Top 40. I bought this album for 50 off during a clearance sale at Barnes & Noble along with the limited orange swirl vinyl of DaDa another album by Alice Cooper. I'm in love with the color of this record The sound is also great all around for this album. At a time when his rock & roll stock is nearly bankrupt, Cooper has wisely scrapped the flatulent vaudeville trappings and tragicomic pretensions of his late-Seventies work and reassumed the punk mantle he wore when the original Alice band was cutting a General Sherman-like swath with rapacious guitars and tortured chickens through hippie complacency.
