Shakin' All Over is the debut studio album by the Canadian rock band The Guess Who, although at the time they were known as Chad Allan & the Expressions. It is regarded as a garage rock album and features their hit version of Johnny Kidd & the Pirates hit song Shakin' All Over. The 2001 release of Shakin' All Over is actually a collection of tracks from the band's first three albums. All songs written and composed by Chad Allan except where noted. In the early 60s he put together his own rhythm and soul group and, like other beat groups of the time, played some gigs at a Hamburg club. The latter would have been quite a fitting last hurrah for Harvey if the ill conceived The Soldier On The Wall had remained in the vaults. Harvey reveals more cabaret on his second album with the Sensational Band but theres also rockabilly and plenty of glam.
