Vocalists included Alan Dale, Liza Morrow, Dick Merrick, and Gene Williams. Standout musicians were trumpeter Guy Key sometimes Kee and saxophonist Boomie Richman sometimes Richmond, as well as Andrew Ackers piano, Romeo Penque sax, Max Herman trumpet, Vern Whitney trombone, Doc Goldberg bass, Nick Fatool drums. Paxton produced many of the songs on this label, most of which were of the East Coast Doo-wop group style, and some of these became hit songs of the day. Composerpianist George. Composerpianist George Russell gathered together a very versatile group of talents trumpeter Don Ellis, trombonist Dave Baker, Eric Dolphy on alto and bass clarinet, bassist Steve Swallow, and drummer Joe Hunt to explore three of his originals, 'Round Midnight which is given an extraordinary treatment by Dolphy, Miles Davis' Nardis, and David Baker's Honesty. Madriguera Barcelona, 17 February 1904 7 September 1973 was a violinist of Catalan origin who was playing concerts as a child before he studied at the Barcelona Conservatory. The Castilian form of his name is Enrique, which he sometimes used on records. Whilst still in his twenties he was lead violinist at Boston's and Symphony orchestras before becoming the conductor of the Cuban died in retirement in Danbury, Connecticut.
