It was written by Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Stig Anderson. Ulvaeus recalled writing the song in the book 1000 UK 1 Hits: That lyric is so banal and I didnt like it. ABBA member Anni-Frid 'Frida' Lyngstad originally recorded the song in Swedish on her solo album Frida Ensam meaning Frida Alone in 1975. ABBA then recorded an English version the following year.
