Boom is the second studio album by the American garage rock band The Sonics, released in February 1966. Boom was released in 1966 by record label Etiquette ET-ALBS-027. It was re-released in 1999 by Norton Records NW 905. They rated it 4 12 stars. Like its predecessor Here Are The Sonics 1965, Boom was influential on later punk rock music see protopunk. The Sonics. Was the US mono 1966 ed released several times with same matrix? The record exists with thick vinyl and dark purple labels, and with thin vinyl with light purple labels. Are both versions 66 pressings?

Yes that is the same as one of my two copies. Both copies got identical matrix.

I have a mono version ET-ALB-027 with purple labels but has slightly flexible vinyl and the following matrixes: SIDE 1: 027-1 / Δ 8563 SIDE 2: 027-2 / Δ 8563-X . Are those the same as yours?
